Track: Rakiura Track - Great Walk.

Southland Conservancy Location: Rakiura National Park, Stewart Island Access: From Halfmoon Bay Description: Medium to hard tramping. 36 km, 3 day tramp. Otago Conservancy Location: Mt Aspiring National Park, South Island Access: Queenstown Glenorchy, Rees Valley Road/Paradise Road Description: Medium to hard trip through river valleys and over an alpine pass. 70 km 4 - 5 day tramp DOC contact: Glenorchy: +64 3 442 9937 glenorchyvc@doc.govt.nz Comment: Serviced huts. Track: Rerepahupahu Falls (Waitaanga South) Track.

Whanganui Conservancy Location: Waitaanga Forest, North Taranaki, 2 hours northeast of New Plymouth Access: SH40 Ahititi to Ohura, South Waitaanga Road end Description: Track follows old bush tramline through rare silver beech and rimu/tawa forest to 60m waterfall. Numerous swing bridges. 5 hrs one way DOC contact: New Plymouth: +64 6 758 0433 Comment: No huts, free overnight camping at falls. Please follow the Environmental Care Code.

Track: Routeburn Track - Great Walk.
